Mr. Nelson is an entrepreneur with extensive experience in business development, distribution and strategic relationships in startups as well as in fortune 500 companies. Jim brings a depth of experience from building and managing customer service organizations to sales leadership at Apropos Technology, Inc leading to a successful IPO. Along with a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Norbert College Jim has an MBA from Northern Illinois University.
Mr. Brady is an entrepreneur with a background in Physics, Astronomy and Electrical Engineering. He was a member of technical staff at Bell Laboratories before founding a telecommunications software startup, Apropos Technology, Inc., where he served in various roles including CTO and CEO. Apropos completed a successful public offering in 2000. Along with a Bachelor of Science in Astronomy and Physics from University of Illinois Pat has an MSEE from Northwestern University.
Mr. Kotter’s current research at RedWave is focused on nano-materials and the novel design of nano-antenna thin-films he developed at INL. He has fifteen U.S. patents, and over 20 publications and papers. Mr. Kotter is the winner of seven George Westinghouse Signature awards and two Nano50 awards. Dale has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
Brad is a process technology specialist with experience in novel device development including LEDs, semiconductor memory, and solar cells. Brad has proven experience in both early stage and established companies managing multiple teams and successfully transferring technologies to outsourced fabricators for high volume production. Brad has a PhD in Materials Science with over 150 issued patents and is the author of 50 publications.
Miena is an expert in electromagnetic design of RF matching networks for nonlinear devices, antennas designs, and high power microwave designs. Prior to joining Redwave, Miena was the electromagnetic design lead for Integrated CMOS Power Amplifier and Antenna Switch for 3G/4G LTE Multiband mobile devices that has launched on global smartphones. He is the author of IEEE publications that cover diverse topics including solving photonic band-gap structures, ultra-wideband self-compensating antennas, compact resonant antennas for high-power microwaves, and switched oscillators. He has a Masters in EE from the University of New Mexico and a PhD (Valedictorian) from the College of Optical Sciences, University of Arizona. Miena was also the recipient of several academic awards.
As Managing Director of Holland Consulting, LLC, Ms. Holland directs federal policy for RedWave Energy. Holland works with clients with whom she shares an alignment of mission and values in support of clean energy through commerce. She first came to know the technology behind RedWave in her former role as Senior Advisor for Commercialization in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. Holland received her MBA in Finance and Strategy from Kellogg School of Management and her BA in History and Studies in the Environment from Yale.
